Precious People!!

Here are a few more pictures from our trip to California!! The first is with his cousin Ty, we took Mike and Wendy's boys to donuts one morning. Joey used to love to do this when we lived in California so one of the first things he made a priority was donuts with the kids!! I can't believe how big they are getting, I still remember when Ty was a baby and was learning how to talk (which he did so well at a young age) he used to say to Joey "Wape up!" when Joey would pretend to be sleeping. Now Drew does it and just giggles when Joey wakes up quickly with excitement. The second picture is with our good friend Jackson Utley. We had a blast hanging out with the Utley family, Drew was intrigued by their bird (in which he was calling a goose for some reason) and even gave it a kiss on the tip of its beak. Jack was in my 1st grade class a few years ago and we have been buddies ever since, not to mention I LOVE his mommy and miss her terribly! The third picture is of my precious friend Linda Harris doing one of her favorite things to do! Drew never says no to an opportunity to be read to. The next picture is with Brooke Veluzat also one of my students. Drew loved playing all the instruments at their house, they had a drum, a piano, and a guitar....it was a dreamland for him! Brooke and her brother Paul were so sweet to spend quality time with him and show him how to play the instruments. God was so good to me when I taught at SCCS, He gave me some of my closest friends in the mothers of my students and allowed me to learn from their parenting....I pray that Drew would have some of the character qualities that these sweet kids have by God's grace! He also gave me a rich friendship in my assistant teacher, LIn! The last picture is with our dear friend Kurt Fillmore. We stayed most of the time with the Fillmores and just cherished every minute of it. Drew loves his aunt Becky and Uncle Kurt and still asks for them often...he never forgets to include their dog Oscar in asking for them!! Even more california pictures to come, I think I took around a couple hundred pictures so it is so hard to choose only 5 at a time!! Only 2 weeks till the due date...we will update if anything happens early...I know you are anxious to hear if the baby is a girl or boy....I am just going crazy wanting to know, it is so exciting!!
