Home Sweet Home!!

Oh how sweet it was!! Do you see the ocean in the background?? A precious family brought our family out to do their sons wedding in Santa Monica in March. We stayed at a hotel blocks from the ocean and 3rd street. We had a little mini family vacation, it was such a wonderful time. Our boys loved the beach....on the way, while walking on the boardwalk Drew says "mommy wheres my shovel and bucket?" Joey and I looked at each other wondering who told him that is what you do in the sand, then we both realized it was from a book that we read to him. Joey said, "well let's go get a bucket and shovel!" so we bought one near by and the kids played in the sand for hours. Drew says, "mommy look at all the mud! Can I step on it?" talking about the sand. It was just so sweet to see their excitement and watch them see some of God's most amazing creations for the first time. Every little detail of the trip was a blessing.

I could have cried watching Drew RUN to tigger when it was our turn to give him a big hug! He didn't hold back, in fact he wouldn't let go, it was precious. I didn't know he would "love" the characters so much, he did the same thing with Pooh and Lighting McQueen.

This is inside of the submarine on the finding Nemo ride. Drew loved it...we all loved it!
