We had a blast celebrating Drew's 2nd birthday!! We had the Welch's over for dinner then all went to the pool for dessert and met a couple other families. When Drew was taking his nap I went to pick up the balloons. As you can see I tied two to each chair. When he came down he was in total awe, he was so happy but it wasn't a gitty happy it was "I can't believe this" happy. It was so precious he new the balloons were for him and after a minute of silence he says to us. "This is awesome" the especially cute part about this is that he has never said those words before, I think he just wanted to express his happiness in a way he hadn't before....it was a Drew highlight for mommy and daddy!! My mom and I totally teared up! And I got it all on tape!

It is a icecream cake...so easy, you crush oreo's (or any chocolate cookie) and mix the crushed cookie with melted butter, layer that on the bottom. (you can do layers of that and the icecream if you want or just put it at the bottom) then you put in 2 containers of icecream (your choice) and then make a homemade hot fudge and let it cool then poor it over the top and freeze it for several hours. Mine was melty because it was hot and humid that day but inside it stays real firm. Put it in a pan that the sides come off and you have such a pretty cake!!
