Here are some pictures from our little trip to Chicago to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary. Joey surprised me and brought me to the Drake hotel for the weekend, it was such a blast. Our friends Kirra and Taylor live in Chicago so they took care of Drew and we just had a couple days to ourselves. He surprised me with Clay Aiken tickets, he sang almost all Christ centered songs, what a great time of meditating on the gift God has given us in His son Jesus Christ! The hotel was amazing, it reminded me of how Disneyland decorates so beautifully at Christmas, everything from a HUGE candy train track to carolers singing in the lobby! The "falling ice" sign just cracked me up....that isn't something you see in California...ever!! Or even in Montana because we don't have huge buildings that ice could fall from!! I know this is old news but I just couldn't update on our trip to California this past week without telling you how wonderful my husband is to treat me to a special weekend to Chicago together!! We did have a AWESOME trip to California so I will update soon!! You are all thinking ya, I have heard that before!! I will try my best!!
