Lollipops and Sink Baths!

Oh the fall is so beautiful here in Indiana!! I wish you could all see it! Out of all of our visitors my mom was the only one who got to enjoy it with us! These pictures are of a place called "Turkey Run", it is a state park close by. We went hiking with the Welch's and another family from our church. It was amazing, it made me feel like I was at home in Montana hiking through glacier national park...it was one of my favorite days so far here in Indiana! It was a long day for Drew to be strapped to Joey's back, he wanted to be with the other kids running around and exploring so by the end of the hike the kids were trying to skip rocks in the river shown in the pictures and I just had to let him be free and have fun!! Oh boy! As you can see he was throwing the rocks in but then going in after them...it was so cold and I couldn't believe he kept going in for more. He was so funny, he would go in with such excitement but then run back out with a shocked look on his face and then just run back in! Just so you know Grandma's it was really shallow so no need to worry!! He was so full of water, leaves, and mud I took him to the lodge and gave him a bath in the sink, I was just going to change his clothes and wash him off but because he was so cold he plopped himself right into the sink and just loved the warm water!! Between the bath in a public restroom and the lollipop it was a stretch for me but a glorious day for Drew!!
